FCT completed Phase 1 of the Innovative Solutions Canada COVID-19 challenge to produce Made-in-Canada Compostable Elastomeric Materials for Medical Glove Manufacturing. The purpose of the challenge was to create a compostable nitrile rubber material. This advancement has a promising future in reducing the negative impact of plastics on the environment while transforming the polymer industry into a circular economy.
